Drawing parallels between the appreciation of wine and of coffee
During Illy’s Universite Del Caffee Coffee Expert: From Plant to Cup, a two-day intensive created for devoted coffee lovers and industry professionals, students will dissect every detail that goes into crafting a superior brew. Class begins with a fascinating botanical and historical overview of the bean, touching on coffee’s cultural significance through the ages.
The class will be taught by Alexis Khan, the General Manager of L’Ecole at FCI and the beverage instructor at ICC. Joining her in leading the class will be David Rosengarten, one of the world’s foremost authorities on food, wine and cooking, along with Illy’s UDC professors from Trieste, Italy, and other ICC coffee experts.
