Co-founded by media entrepreneur and environmentalist Ted Turner, this home of made-from-scratch comfort food uses only the finest all-natural beef, bison, and chicken ~ no artificial ingredients and no preservatives are found in any of its locations ~ which range from Colorado to Florida to Massachusetts and all feature a warm, charming atmosphere and the craftsman-style architecture of the early 20th century. The hearty menu features American classics like steaks, crab cakes, meatloaf, pecan-crusted trout, cedar plank salmon, burgers, chicken grills and vegetable sides; the daily blue-plate specials include fresh-cut fries, hand-dipped salt and pepper onion rings. Delicious soups and an array of salads and desserts round out the menu.
