I was really hoping for good things when the previous owner of Banana Joe’s told me he was opening an affordable home cooking restaurant. The reality was not so good. Walked in at 12:30 PM to rustic log slab bar and peeling paint concrete floors. Only 2 other people in the place when we arrived and 5 people working there but took a long time to get menus and place orders for burgers, tenders and fries. Keno machine wasn’t working yet, no beers on tap, out of several food items. Seemed like a big deal to get knife fork and napkins. The actual food was pretty good when it arrived. They have been open for months but it seemed like it was their first day open and very disorganized. Won’t be back.
